The vision of the Feed Communities Neighborhood Garden is to create long-term food security by providing the opportunity and knowledge to grow organic, safe, nutritious and sustainable food in a community environment.

We welcome all community members to grow with us regardless of gardening experience. Families welcome!

What We Offer:

 Neighborhood Gardeners are welcome to cultivate 1 or 2 raised garden beds.

o Reservations are first come first serve.

o The beds will be watered on a timer with drip irrigation so clients will not have watering responsibilities.

 Gardeners have access to general tools when they work in their gardens.

 Gardeners have access to Feed Communities staff and in house resources for garden support during specific hours. Ex. Referencing our gardening books and asking general gardening questions.

 First time gardeners will receive a garden orientation and run through of general garden basics.

 Garden classes and workshops will be offered seasonally. Most will be free of charge.

Exchange:

 Our sliding scale ranges from $0 to a $20 suggested price for growers.

o You decide how much you pay for the space you cultivate.

o All funds will go toward water bills and general garden maintenance.
