Join Our Plant A Row Initiative
We are calling on local gardeners, farmers, and food growing enthusiasts to join this initiative and pledge to grow a little extra food this season for food insecure families. Grow an extra row, raised bed, or even container of produce and donate it to those in need. Click the button below to take the pledge today!

Feed Communities is partnered with local food pantries who are ready and eager to accept fresh produce donations. These food pantries provide services to those 1 in 5 Arkansans who struggle with food insecurity. With food provisions that consist mostly of shelf-stable food items, our local pantries and their clients would love to see fresh local produce made more readily available.
By intentionally growing a little extra food in your garden this year, you can directly support this need for fresh and healthy produce. Please join us in taking the pledge to Plant A Row. Pledge to plant a little extra and harvest a portion of your work for our community members in need.
Don’t grow?? Consider making a monetary contribution for our Plant A Row initiative. Funds will go towards helping growers and farmers purchase seeds and plants and support distribution of getting produce to pantries.
Once You Have Pledged:
- Grow your food!
- When you are ready to harvest reference the pantries below for ideas on where to donate your produce. If you can’t make it to a pantry- feel free to drop it off at Feed Communities (221 S. Locust Ave. in Fayetteville) Monday-Friday, 9-4.
- If you are taking your produce straight to a pantry make sure you weigh what you donate and share with us! This helps us keep track of the impact we are making in our community and allows us to brag on all of our Plant A Row growers!

“If you give our clients a choice between fresh versus canned or frozen vegetables, they always pick fresh. It’s nice to provide something families consider a luxury. Fresh produce should not be a luxury.”Kimberly Porter
